If you’re looking for a charming getaway in Venice, I can’t recommend Palazzo Marcello Hotel enough. From the moment we arrived, we were treated to a wonderful experience that made our trip truly unforgettable. A Breakfast to Remember: One of the highlights of our stay was the breakfast included with our room. Imagine starting your day with a lavish spread of multiple hams, a variety of cheeses, fresh bread, perfectly cooked eggs, and creamy yogurt. It was a feast that set the tone for our adventures in this beautiful city! Perfect Location: The hotel is ideally situated just a 10-minute stroll from the Venice entrance, making it easy to explore the winding streets and stunning canals. It felt wonderful to be in a location that was both convenient and picturesque. Exceptional Staff: What truly made our stay special was the incredible staff. Lucca at the front desk was a standout! He was always cheerful and ready to help, offering fantastic recommendations for dining and attractions. Speaking Spanish was a bonus, making communication effortless. Lucca even arranged two restaurant reservations to celebrate birthdays for friends traveling with me, which added a personal touch to our trip. On our last day, he took care of reserving a water taxi for our early flight at 7 AM—talk about going above and beyond! Evening Delights: Evenings were just as delightful. Venice may close its bars early, but we found a gem at the hotel bar, thanks to Angle, the friendly barman. After a day of sightseeing, enjoying drinks at the bar was the perfect way to unwind. Angle’s hospitality made our nights memorable! All in all, we spent a wonderful time at Palazzo Marcello Hotel. With its fantastic breakfast, prime location, and outstanding service, I can confidently say that I will be returning. If you’re planning a trip to Venice, this hotel should be at the top of your list!

The position was, for us, perfect. Not far from arrival points, with plenty of choice to eat out at night right on the doorstep. In fact we didn’t walk more than 300 meters each night. Interiors… down stairs was beautiful and tastefully decorated. Everything was there that you needed and more. Our room was not so. It was tired and needed a reverb desperately. The bed was Very Com as were the pillows and gowns supplied. But as a whole it needed revitalising. The bedding was changed each day the bathroom was cleaned & towels changed. The staff were amazingly nice, very, very helpful, super professional and I highly recommend Angel the barman’s Cuba Libre. It’s the best I’ve ever had and I’ve been to Cuba (Angels birth place.) Breakfast was great, tasty, fresh and all what you need. We loved it. The scrambled eggs were fabulous. All in all great value for money we will be back; and very soon.

5 minutes walk from Piazzale Roma, a central transportation hub for easy access to the airport. Easy walking distance to all central tourist areas, we walked absolutely everywhere, it was wonderful wondering around. The area has a local vibe so lots of great bars and restaurants, at very reasonable prices. The breakfast is lovely, lots of choice from continental to cooked eggs and bacon. The shared areas of the hotel are charming, with a lovely courtyard garden. We loved the free lavazza coffee machine in reception too.

Our holiday was very nice. The location of the hotel and the behavior of the hotel staff were also very nice. They welcomed us with a smile and treated us with a smile. The hotel was clean and the fact that I initially set the dates wrong and hotel personel solved the problem accordingly, helped us arrange a transfer from TSF airport and our arrival-departure were easy was an extra comfort for us. Thank them very much. If I visit Venice again, I will definitely stay again at this hotel.

This hotel is gorgeous. The rooms are traditionally decorated which we loved. The foyer and breakfast area was lovely and modern, and lots of seating areas available throughout the hotel as well as the garden area. Staff were very friendly and room was ready for us early and we were able to store baggage after check out as we had a late flight home. Everything is within walking distance and lots of lovely restaurants close by. Venice is beautiful, if you can get a room with canal view !
